Dodgy Man's Bible Believing Commentaries

Updated: Jul 29

^ A quick review from knowthetruth.uk !

Its been said said that 'The marks of a good Bible teacher is taking deep truths and complicated doctrines and breaking them down to tiny little bite-size pieces so the average guy on the street can easily digest and understand them' and I pray that I have indeed done this well.

When reading the Dodgy Mans Commentaries

I pray that the Bible believer may be more edified and learned, bringing him even closer to God.

I pray that the non bible believing christian can see the riches and depths of Gods only true word.

I pray that the unsaved person gets pricked, convicted and cries out to God when realizing

that 'the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.' Heb 4:12

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Rom 10.13

Psalm 26.7

that I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

Proverbs 13:19a

The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul:

Psalm 37:4

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Ephesians 1:17

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Colossians 1:10

that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

I would also like to thank very very much the congregation in California that put the first bulk order in. I'm so grateful, thankful and taken back by their generosity.

Philippians 4:17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

THE NEW MUCH NEEDED DISCLAIMER:

This is to the reaction the denominations who had their fundamentals challenged and as they have been given up to worshiping them (Ezek 14.1-11) reacted fairly badly to the first edition of the commentary on the Gospels, they couldn't handle buying the other two books, yet stole material from the 'free pages' amazon gives out to use in their sermons!

Its also amazing how ecumenical movements gather against the truth! (Matt 16.1)

Side Note:

The problem with carnal gossiping Christians is that they think everyone's as carnal as them. (Rom 8.6-7, 1 Cor 3:1-3)

The problem with Fundamentalists against bible believers is wholly surmised in Amos 7.10-13 and 1 Kings 13.11- 26. Its simply a matter of Prov 26.12 and Ecc 1.9.

The problem with prideful hyper-legalists and the scholarly bible rejectors (alexandrians, every last one of them) is they don't want to consider in their conceit that as Laodicea comes to a very abrupt end (Rev 3.14 - 4.1) that maybe, just maybe God used a 'dodgy man' with no formal education and a worse reputation to Judge the 'house of God' in his local area before the rest of the world gets it. (1 Peter 4.17, Amos 5.10, Jer 5.14 & 31, Isa 58.1b)

As It makes Jesus rejoice when the 'base of the world' (1 Cor 1.28) is used to bring down the holier-than-thou pharisees (Luke 10.21)

Finally, to the Disclaimer found in all new editions:

All names and identifying details have been omitted to protect the privacy of individual Pharisees and their families. However the situations mentioned in this commentary where the author included many of his own personal accounts dealing with such people, who belong to SEVERAL local denominations whom the author KNOWS have indeed read with horror (based on John 7.15 I assume?), shared these books to gossip about (1 Cor 3:3, 1 Peter 4:15) and have been pricked by (Acts 26:14, Prov 12.15-16 & 19.25). Regarding the events he prayerfully hopes they get right with BEFORE the Judgement seat and not after. (2 Cor 5.10, 1 Tim 5.24, Mark 11.25, Col 3.13)

These books are dedicated to the small multitude of folk I've witnessed to over the years who've told me they’d been put off coming to Christ by the actions of such Christians. (Matt 23:15, Rev 3.17, Job 13.10, James 2.1-9)

Don't let a Christian put you off Christ, reader. He is perfect, they certainly aren't.

Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
