First of all, a Bible believer needs to rightly divide.
Now to reiterate and summarize what Hensley says:
The death of the testator means we are NOT under the law anymore, it was fulfilled by Christ (Heb 9:16-17). Nor are people saved the same way after his death.
Compare
Exodus 23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
and
Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith.
to
Romans 3.24
being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
and
Romans 1.17
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
The OT Saints had to wait in paradise until Jesus' blood let them into the 3rd heaven.
Nothing but the BLOOD OF JESUS WILL LET YOU ENTER HEAVEN. (Heb 10.19, Rev 1.5 and 21.27)
Noah 'found grace' in Gen 6.8 didn't mean saved by grace through faith. Paul's 'dispensation of God' (Eph 3.2, Col 1.25) isnt 'dispensation' in the time / covenant sense IE God dealing with different sets of people at different times, its a 'dispensing of something' being spoke of. A covenant is Gods agreement with men, the covenants split through dispensations as well.
Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets
Israel IS NOT the church. the simplest verse to prove this is
Romans 11:25
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in
A Christ rejecting jew goes to hell like ANY OTHER Christ rejector upon death.
The Tribulation is the time of JACOBS Trouble (Gen 32.28, Jer 30.7) So not the 'churches trouble' It is NOT appointed to wrath (1 Thess 5.9) and the seals of Revelations start the outpouring of said wrath. (Rev 5 & 6)
Taking the mark in that time is that dispensations 'unpardonable sin' Yet WE are sealed until we arrive into heaven (Eph 4.30) nothing now can stop us getting saved (2 Cor 5.15) or losing our salvation. (John 18.9)
Sabbath observance is the one of the 10 commandments left out of Paul's instructions for the church, yet it returns in the tribulation period as a physical rebuilt temple is there in Israel for the Antichrist to sit in. (Matt 24.15)
Rev 7.4 & 14 shows 2 different sets of people, as the church is away, as well as Jew and Gentile being in the one body of Christ is done away with also.
Also Post-millennialism is ANTI BIBLICAL MADNESS. 2 Tim 3.13 & 2 Thess 2 show we are not bringing any 'kingdom' ourselves. See my post on 50 reasons that it is sheer heresy to think otherwise.
And please dont mix up 'Dispensationalism' with the hyper-dispensationalism nonsense that growing on and offline at minute. Even many Bible believers are 'seeing the light' and turning to this heretical doctrine, pity they don't look to see where the 'light' is coming from!
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
A Bible Believing Dispensationalist Checklist:
Rightly divide the scriptures
Realize the church and Israel are NOT the same
The rapture is PRE-tribulation
Prophecy is future with the pre millenial return of Jesus Christ
The King James Bible is THE ONLY Bible and to be taken LITERALLY AS GODS PRESERVED WORD.
